Laurel & Josue had the perfect summer wedding at the Emricson Park in Woodstock.
When they reached out to hire me to document their wedding day I was so thrilled! I met Laurel and Josue for the first time in May at their Engagement Session and I fell in love them the minute we met at Downtown Chicago for their session where Josue proposed in front of The Bean.
I could say right away they had the sparkle between this two. This summer day was full of fun and sunshine. I loved seeing the joy and excitement in their eyes when they saw each other for the first time. They had their First Look on a path in the woods where we shared their first kiss. The ceremony and the reception were outside in nature. Lauren and Josue love to be outside and spend time in nature.
The whole wedding was a very representative of them, bilingual, great authentic food, lots of yummy sweets (the apple cider doughnuts – their favorite), many of the guests are their church family who is very special to them. The reception taking place at the Emricson Park where they had their first date. Because on their first date, they saw a wedding happening in the park. Later… once they started thinking and talking about marriage they both remembered that moment and liked the idea of an outdoor wedding like that!), celebrating what God has done in bringing them together.
