Every detail of the wedding was meticulously planned and executed. The team from Chic Chef Catering and Iyanze/Bolat Catering provided a delectable spread of food that everyone enjoyed. The saxophonist, G Funk, and singer, KB Evans, filled the air with beautiful music, making the day even more special.
The Canvas Venue: A Floral Wonderland
Michelle and Emeka’s wedding day was one for the books! As their photographer, I had the privilege of capturing every magical moment. The day started at The Canvas venue, which was a floral wonderland designed by Yanni Design. Walking into the room, I felt like I had stepped into a fairytale. Flowers adorned the ceiling, walls, and even the floor, creating a breathtaking scene that was simply unforgettable.
The beautiful light streaming in from the windows highlighted the vibrant fuchsia and gold decor, making every corner of the room perfect for photos. The stunning setup added a touch of elegance and charm to the day, setting the tone for a wedding that was both chic and unique.
Fuchsia and Gold: The Colors of Love
The color scheme of the wedding was a delightful blend of fuchsia with a colorful twist of gold. It was present in the flowers, the decor, and even in the attire of the bridal party. The bold and vibrant colors added to the overall festive atmosphere, making every photo pop with life and energy.
Renaissance Hotel Schaumburg: Picture-Perfect Memories
After getting ready, we moved to the Renaissance Hotel Schaumburg for the bridal party and bride and groom portraits. We had different plans initially, but it rained all day, so this became our rain backup location. Thank you so much to the hotel for providing us with this beautiful spot; it was a hit. The pictures came out so beautifully that it looks like it was a sunny day. Michelle and Emeka’s love for each other shone through in every shot, their joy and excitement palpable in the air.

Steve’s Flower Market crafted the most beautiful personal flowers and bouquets for Michelle and Emeka’s wedding. Each arrangement was stunning, adding a touch of elegance and charm to the day.
The Chic Chef Catering team, you were excellent! Your dedication and willingness to help did not go unnoticed, and the food was amazing. The Iyanze/Bolat Catering team, thank you for the delicious spread that everyone loved.
DJ Duerell, truly brought the party to life! Everyone had an amazing time dancing and celebrating thanks to his fantastic music and energy. And to the Kaosochi Igbo dancers, your performance was outstanding and beautifully showcased the Igbo culture.
