What is the biggest struggle for couples when planning a wedding and how are your services helping to resolve them?
The hardest part of planning a wedding for a lot of couples is staying organized. Their various vendors and planning the day of events. Venue 5126 provides a Day of Event Coordinator who plans your day of timeline. They also provide floor plan. The coordinator communicates with all of your vendors. To make sure they arrive on-time and know where to go and how to set up, and will create a Day of Document to act as a guide for your big day!
What inspired you to do this; to start a business and go full-time with it?
Soon after owners Chris and Dave got engaged, they took a look inside the barn and they had a vision. Of their family and friends laughing and celebrating, watching the sun set over the fields, and music and laughter filling the air. They could see themselves getting married there. Over the course of 2 years, they stripped the dirt and debris from the barn, hung vintage chandeliers, and added the stone patio to make this dream come true. In the fall of 2010, they were wed at Emerson Creek. EC has now celebrated the commitments and marriages of many couples and could not be happier to share in the joy of their special day!
What are some questions that you get from brides inquiring? What specifically do you do? Who is your client?

The most unique thing about Venue 5126 is the property itself. However, the best thing Venue 5126 offers is a staff. They will go above and beyond to make your wedding day go as smoothly as possible.
How early should couples book you to ensure you’ll be available for their wedding day?
Typically we book a year in advance. For the most popular times (Saturdays in the summer and fall) so we would suggest at least a year, however, we always have a list of available dates so the best thing to do would be to contact us!
What is one tip or piece of advice you’d give a couple for their wedding day?
Be selfish. After you spend months to years planning, making sure your big day will be perfect. Do your best to enjoy every minute of it. Of course you want to think about your family and other guests. But remember they are there to celebrate you, so make sure you are too!
