Given that Katie and Matt will marry in September 2022, they decided to have an engagement photo shoot this year. Walking around Long Grove, Illinois, we captured Katie and Matt’s October 2021 engagement session. With its abundance of greenery, vibrant fall foliage, brick façades, bridges, gazebos, barns, and other structures, Long Grove proved to be stunning and distinctive in every way. There were cute little flashes of charm everywhere we turned.

The historic, natural Long Grove

Long Grove is the first historic district in Illinois, therefore its appeal is unmistakably genuine. Visitors adore our laid-back atmosphere and diverse selection of neighborhood stores, eateries, and entertainment options. Long Grove, renowned for our yearly celebrations and luxuriant green areas, was voted one of Chicago’s Best Public Spaces by the Metropolitan Planning Council.

Kind clients are captivating

In front of my camera, Katie and Matt were incredibly kind and genuine! On this September evening we met in Long Grove for their engagement session. I can’t wait for their wedding! The pair was such a sport while posing for photos, and the weather was ideal. During our photo shoot, these two were also all smiles, and I’m hoping that the weather will be just as lovely for their September wedding!

I connected with Katie and Matt right away and experienced warmth. They were extremely helpful and nice as we traveled to the photo shoot venue. They were enthusiastic, lively, and overflowing with the same brightness that we had while we were planning the shoot. Katie’s smile seemed to spread throughout her entire body. Additionally, one of the kindest individuals I’ve ever met was Matt.
