A wedding can be a real challenge. Either you organize a party for 300 guests, or an intimate family dinner. Each of these options requires dedication of your attention, time and a little planning and organizing skills. Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine life without a smartphone. Thanks to this, you communicate with your friends, check news from the world and even do shopping. Although you can feel sometimes like you want to throw the phone out the window. It is more often your friend than the enemy. Try to use it as an ally when organizing a wedding! The newbie in planning, but also experienced wedding and event planners can use some of the applications we chose to present here.

2. Wunderlist – to do list which keeps your tasks on par.
Wunderlist is the easiest way to get stuff done. Whether you’re planning a wedding, sharing a shopping list with a partner or managing multiple other projects. Wunderlist helps you tick off all your personal and professional to-dos. If anything comes to my mind I simply open up the Wunderlist app and jot it down. It couldn’t be any easier!

Receive notifications for when an item is added, crossed off a list, or schedule your repeating tasks. You can even set it up so that you receive an email to your inbox when the deadline is due.
Share lists with anyone you like, so they can be updated immediately with new task you or them add to the list.
Possibility to assign different list to different people. Share your list with your vendor or wedding planer (example: list of guest names and phone numbers for those you wish to invite!)
Wunderlist instantly syncs between all your devices. This way you may do changes anywhere on any device: phone, tablet or computer.
3. Pinterest – visual ideas
The undisputed king of inspiration and ideas. I certainly do not need to present this application – millions of downloads and enormous user activity speak for themselves. Although the application has not been created for honeymooners, it can not be hidden that it is a real mine of ready-made projects or DIY instructions. Mandatory, on the smartphone of every future Bride!
This free app (and its corresponding website) is an addictive online scrapbook/bulletin board. You will find unlimited categories like photos of cakes, dresses, decorations and honeymoon ideas. Set up your own account and collect your own inspirations with this easy to use the board. Start pinning your favorites! 4. miMind – a Planning app which will make a great blueprint for your wedding!
From the order of service to the wedding ceremony, the wedding plan miMind help you to cover it all. Make some sense of the mess and start grouping branches together. We recommend you create “Elements of your wedding” mind map! Create groups like vendors, service, reception, pre-wedding, honeymoon, the Bridal Party, miscellaneous however works best for you. Create sub-topics within these, such as clothes, or transport, and wherever possible use an image instead of text to keep the map visual and dynamic.

5. Appy Couple – all in one app
An amazing app for keeping everyone in the loop: Appy Couple (paid app around 69$ to 169$ – one-time fee)
With this app, none of your friends and family will be left in the dark. You can share details about your big day or send save-the-date and invite emails, build your guest list and share information about your gift registry, wedding party, and event, like date, maps, and directions. You would send the special unique access key to all your guests (anyone with this key has free access) which will give them access to your unique app created for your wedding. They’ll be privy to all your plans! They can even RSVP through the app. This application is very intuitive and has all you need in one “
6. Trello – best organization tool
Another great organization tool ( and free!) to help you on your journey to happily ever after is Trello. This is my favourite actually and I use this app for all my business and life related stuff. Trello can help put all the moving parts into order and keep your team (yes, even your in-laws) in the loop on ideas, details, and to-dos big and small.
In Trello you can create different boards for any subject you like. This amazing application has pre-built templates for your wedding planning!!! Isn’t that awesome! It is soo much easier to customize something already provided than get all going with now app on your own:

10. Wedding Cutdown Widget – the name says it all!
A small peculiar widget used to count down how many days, hours, minutes and seconds you are divided into this great day. Interestingly, we can also set less standard units of time, such as heartbeats or kisses. For fans of personalization, there is also an option to add music or photos that we associate with a given moment. Of course, our timeline can easily be published on Facebook and other social media channels if we choose so.

Although the Fast Budget is not dedicated to planning a wedding, it’s an app that’s just worth having on your smartphone. Fast Budget is a popular platform for managing money: it is easy to use, synchronized with your bank account and credit card. With it, you can monitor expenses and control transfers. Create a wedding budget and easily update it with the help of weekly summaries. You do not have to worry that you will forget about any payments – the application will remind you about it using an e-mail or text message.
