My favorite things about Windy City
Chicago is famed for its stunning buildings and architecture, which includes fantastic museums, art galleries, education facilities, riverfronts, a plethora of nightlife entertainment venues, and bustling shopping districts. Around every corner of Chicago, such places offer tourists something fresh to discover.
Chicago photography is an excellent choice for capturing your life’s memories with your loved ones. The city of Chicago is known for its world-class museums, historical and architectural landmarks, river cruises, and theme parks.
Popular photography locations for a reason
Although some of these may appear to be “touristy,” they are popular photography locations for a reason. Trust me when I say that these Chicago photo places will not let you down.
Tourists are drawn to Grant Park, Millennium Park, Buckingham Fountain, The Magnificent Mile, Lincoln Park Zoo, Science and Art Museums, and the Chicago Skydeck because of their diverse experiences. First-time visitors to Chicago should devote a significant amount of time exploring Grant Park, which features flower gardens, strolling paths, open green space, and the world’s largest dancing fountain with light and music.
Every tourist should pay a visit to Millennium Park, which has the Crown Fountain, Cloud Gate (also known as The Bean), concerts, and a cycling tour.
The Magnificent Mile, on the other hand, is home to a number of high-end luxury hotels, restaurants, and shops.
If you’re going with your kids, the Lincoln Park Zoo offers a terrific opportunity for them to learn about wildlife and participate in hands-on activities.
Your child’s visit will be both overwhelming and memorable thanks to a Chicago Photographer.
The Chicago Architecture River Cruise provides 360-degree views of the city as well as a stunning backdrop for Chicago photographs.
Additionally, Navy Pier is a tourist destination since it offers golf, a carousel, a cliff climb, and a giant bounce. As a result, investing in Chicago photography will pay off in the long run.
Unique architecture
One of the many aspects of our city that I admire is its distinct and unique architecture. I’ve lived in Chicago for over 15 years. It never ceases to amaze me with new beautiful, hypnotic places that I’ve fallen in love with.
My recent discovery is an Anna Nelson’s and graffiti artist Revise CMW for the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel’s lobby library featuring 100 hand-painted monochrome books. It turns a flat wall into a textured, tactile backdrop. We can also see a wall covered in colored pencils, but when they zoom out, they can see the iconic yellow taxi cab. It’s an ideal location for an engagement session.
A magical hidden gem for a coffee lover like me is my favorite coffee shop – Hero Coffee Bar at 22 East Jackson Boulevard. It’s also a great location for a romantic photo session.
I have to mention the stunning iron staircase in the Rookery Building that winds down from floor 12 to floor 2. As a wedding and real estate photographer, I’m constantly discovering new spots in Chicago and its suburbs that are worth seeing and contributing to the city’s uniqueness.
I also love Chicago Riverwalk called “Arcade” for its architectural details. and Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk there is a great view of the city skyline there that is perfect for beautiful photos. Check out this golden hour engagement session in Lincoln Park
