When it comes to choosing your wedding venue, wedded couples to be want to choose something that says something about them, that is personal and has sentimental meaning to them. It doesn’t get any more personal than your own house and backyard which was the venue for Nicole and Mel’s wedding on June 10th 2018. Hosting their own wedding meant they had full control over the gorgeous decorations including 30 stunning dream catchers made by Nicole’s mom. Nicole got ready for her big day in their stunning, cozy house while Mel got ready in the trailer next to the house to add suspense. They took this time to write love letters to each other and reflect on their love that had led up to this unforgettable day before meeting once again down the aisle where they said their vows to their nearest and dearest with the sun shining down on them.

I think I really captured the fun, relaxing vibe this wedding brought as the couple danced and laughed together, played Mr and Mrs wedding games and delivered their moving speeches. The four bridesmaids were the groom’s daughters and it clear to see how much they love Nicole and how happy they were to be part of this occasion.
They ended their perfect day with sparklers, fairy lights, and fireworks outside the barn house where they danced the night away. Overall, this wedding day was an incredible statement of true love, personal touches, not taking life too seriously and ending it with a big bang!
