In light of COVID-19 and the current coronavirus pandemic across the globe we’ve decided to update our booking and cancellation policies in order to best serve our couples. These are difficult and stressful times for everyone and we want to ensure our couples feel confident booking us to photograph their special day, without worrying about what can happen should there be the need to reschedule or in the worst case cancel altogether.
The following policies are in place during the COVID-19 pandemic and take precedent over all other policies for all new weddings booked after June 1st, 2020.
MY POLICY WITH CORONAVIRUS IS BASED ON 3 SCENARIOS
I look forward to sharing in your special day, and together we will all get through this.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us
Take care <3
Lovely, I am waving any change fee and only the contract needs updating. *Ideal. The retainer will be credited towards your new date.
1. Clients need to reschedule their wedding date to any day I am available in the calendar year the wedding is scheduled:
2. Client reschedule to a day I am not available or cancel entirely:
You reschedule to a day that I am not available. You have two options:
a) You have the option to use an associate photographer.
Then the rescheduling fee is waived and only the contract needs updating. The retainer and any money paid will be credited towards the new wedding date. This applies to both 2021 and 2022.
b) Cancel entirely. If you decide to cancel entirely any money paid that exceeds retainer amount can be credited towards another type of session (couples, anniversary, family, etc) and is transferable for up to 1 years of your original wedding date.
3. Clients reschedule to a new available date in the following (next) year:
You reschedule to a new date in the following (next) year If the date is being moved to the following year, the rescheduling fee will be applied to account for the lost revenue of securing two dates for one wedding. Rescheduling fee is waived for non peak dates: Friday, Sunday or winter. Clients need to pay a change fee of $1000 for the peak dates (Saturdays between months May to November), to reflect my new yearly price change for peak Saturdays. In addition, 50% of the remaining balance will be due at the time of your original scheduled date and the remaining balance will be due 30 days before your actual event.
Most likely you will know that the state guidelines more than three weeks before when the second payment is due. And I am sure that you will want to make a decision to postpone your wedding as soon as possible, to make sure that all your vendors are available for your new date. That means that the only money you will pay is the retainer so those three scenarios from the contract will apply.
